You Are Nothing

In meditation this morning, I saw my non-existence. I felt my nothingness.

It is impossible for me to be a unique “somebody” — because I am made of the same material, come from the same origin and share in the same energy that every other human being is a part of.

Do the individual feathers on a bird’s nape think themselves unique?

Does a single flower petal see itself as independent?

Our individuality is a myth. And yet our experience of being unique isn’t reduced just because it’s an illusion. I will always feel “me,” even if I’m not there.

We are both connected and separate at the same time.

Part of everything, yet alone, simultaneously.

And the energy that keeps these two opposing world views glued together is the God Force — loving us, leading us, looking after us with gratitude, love, patience and peace.

Good morning.

More of my philosophy on business and life can be read on my regularly irregular newsletter.
